TiFast melting plant uses the most advanced technologies and has three furnaces working under vacuum: two of these furnaces are cold hearth units for the production of round ingots, rectangular slabs and special shapes via the Skull Melting technology. The third one is a Vacuum Arc Remelt (VAR) and produces round ingots.

The Skull Melting technology removes both low (hard alpha) and high density inclusions and is the best method to produce clean titanium. Thanks to the high percentage of prepared scrap, the Skull Melting technology is an economical solution.

TiFast manufactures ingots in a full range of titanium grades, several diameters and weights. Ingots can be single, double or triple melted and can be delivered as cast or turned. Ingots’ internal quality is checked by Ultrasonic scan.
